Machine Shop

With our full in-house, CAD/CAM design facilities, we are able to assist customers in the development of products to meet specific requirements. Our facility benefits from the ability to draw on over four decades of firsthand experience, resulting in practical and workable solutions to customers’ problems.

In our facility of 20,000 square feet, we are equipped with 15 Engine Lathes, which have machining capabilities of up to 48′ diameter and lengths up to 20 feet.

Welding

C&S Machine prides itself on providing welding services both on and off-site. We have a fully-staffed welding department that can handle any size job. With our mobile welding service, we are able to provide Thomasville and surrounding areas “just in time” support in case of an emergency. We offer the following welding services:

Plasma/Oxy Fuel

Our Plasma/Oxy-fuel cutting department is equipped with the latest computer-controlled shape-cutting machines. They are designed to burn out very intricate parts to meet your specifications in single or multiple quantities, with the ability to nest parts to maximize material usage and reduce waste. We are equipped with 2 ESAB Plasma cutting machines:

1 – 100 AMP CNC Plasma/Oxy-fuel machine with a 6′ x 12′ cutting board capability
1 – 200 AMP CNC Plasma machine with a 10′ x 20′ cutting board capability

Waterjet

Our Waterjet cutting department is equipped with the latest computer-controlled cutting machine on the market. We are currently equipped with 1 Waterjet featuring the following capabilities:

Dynamic Waterjet increases speed and reduces taper
Uniquely designed, which minimizes footprint by integrating pump into the backside of the machine frame, allowing all facets of a machine to be controlled by roll-around control

Main motor: 50 HP, 460 VOLTS

CNC Mills and Lathes

C & S Machine is equipped with the latest state-of-art CNC equipment in the Southeast. We have a CNC department that is fully staffed to handle all your needs. We use Haas, Fadal, and Alpha CNC machines that consist of five mills and three lathes. Our CNC department can handle any job, no matter the difficulty. We go the extra mile to ensure our craftsmanship and quality are at the utmost highest. Below you will find our exact equipment specifications:
